She specialises in event architecture and production with over 15 years in experiential marketing and brand development, gained in a range of environments from fashion, not for profit and government to leading international corporations, media & the arts. Her design style and strategic business approach have influenced notable clients such as Network Ten, BMW and The Herald Sun. Taren is an advocate for sustainability and women's development and served as a board member of UN Women Australia. After 25 years experience in the International Airline industry Malcolm went solo in 1991 and set up his own corporate travel agency Champion Travel and is a member of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA). As more and more of his clients began enquiring about conferencing and events he decided to venture into the field in 1999. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength developing further divisions in Golf Tourism, Sales & Distribution. As the Champion Group's Chairman and CEO, Malcolm also represents South Australia on the National Board of Travelscene American Express. His vision in building the Champion Group transcends to each and every client engagement and his depth of experience and counsel is relied upon by many influential networks and brands. A passionate South Australian throughout his career, Malcolm has shown his commitment to supporting sports and the advancement of the state serving as the Chairman of the Adelaide 36ers for over 15years and driving the development of an international standard sporting arena, the Clipsal PowerHouse.
John Harriss joined the Champion Group in 2005 after developing a successful client relationship over several years in assisting him to develop and manage a major incentive program for Bridgestone Golf Australia. John has developed an extensive international network in the Golf industry with 27 years in total working for Bridgestone including 12 years as General Manger of Bridgestone Golf. John is now the Managing Director of Champion Sports, who are the Australian distributors for YES GOLF, Bushnell, Bollé, Orlimar and number of other sporting brands. As a Director of CE he leads the development and management of Champion's highly regarded Golf Events division and brings the strength of his influential network in the industry to the benefit of our clients. Since joining forces with Champion, John has established the group as the number one Corproate Golf Event Company in Australia.
